It’s been one of those weeks where everything overlaps in a good way.
Between seasonal events, more people getting games to the table, and us quietly working away in the background, it’s been a nice reminder of why we do this in the first place.
Mother’s Day – Games at the Table
Mother’s Day always has a slightly different feel.
It’s less about big, loud game nights and more about:
- Sitting down together
- Playing something simple
- Actually having time to enjoy it
We’ve loved seeing people sharing photos and stories of games being played as part of the day. That’s kind of the whole point for us—our games being part of real moments, not just sitting on a shelf.
☘️ St Patrick’s Day – Slightly More Chaos
Then St Patrick’s Day came along and… yeah, very different energy.
More people, more noise, more “we’ll figure it out as we go” kind of play sessions.
It’s always interesting for us as a publisher to see how games live in those environments. The same game can feel completely different depending on the setting, and that’s something we’re always thinking about when we design and develop.
🐣 Easter on the Horizon
With Easter coming up, we know a lot more games are about to hit tables.
Long weekends are perfect for it people have time, groups get bigger, and there’s more willingness to try something new.
For us, it’s a bit of a checkpoint:
- Are our games easy to pick up?
- Do they work for mixed groups?
- Do they actually get replayed?
It’s the kind of moment where you really see how a game holds up outside of testing and development.

🎲 UKGE 2026 – The Build-Up Starts
We’ve also started prepping for UK Games Expo 2026, which is always a big one for us.
Right now it’s less about the big announcements and more about the behind-the-scenes work:
- What we’re bringing
- What people can get hands-on with
- How we show off what we’ve been working on
UKGE is one of the few times everything becomes real people playing, reacting, giving feedback on the spot. It’s equal parts exciting and slightly terrifying (in a good way).
🧠 What We’re Thinking Right Now
Lately, a lot of our focus has been on something pretty simple:
Making games that actually get played. Not just once, not just because they’re new but games people come back to.
The kind that:
- Don’t take forever to get going
- Work with different groups
- Still feel good after multiple play
That’s the goal, always.
👋 For Now…
So that’s where we’re at somewhere between seasonal chaos, quiet development work, and getting ready for a big year ahead.
If you’re playing our games over Easter or bringing them to a table somewhere, we’d genuinely love to hear how they’re going.
More soon
